They have a huge difference, so please don’t confuse them. Assessment is the process of gathering and analyzing information about a student's learning progress. A traditional form of assessment involves paper-and-pencil tests, essays, assignments, and projects. However, with the advancement of technology, assessment has changed forms, or better said, has gained new, innovative forms 🙂. When you use technology in assessment, it changes the way you gather, analyze and respond to information about student learning.
